OpenLink is discontinuing support for Ingres 6.4 databases. However, OpenIngres or Ingres II is fully supported. Be advised. If you cannot find a suitable OpenIngres driver for your platform, you may use a pre-existing Ingres 6.4 driver. Ingres 6.4 drivers may not recognize all of Ingres II's new data types. However, they will allow you to connect. Finally, OpenIngres drivers will not connect to Ingres 6.4 databases.
